Based on this comment it looks like Luke Schenscher has grabbed on with the Denver Nuggets,. They were one of the teams we heard reports that was ready to draft Luke in the 2nd round, but his agent took a pass in order to have more negotiating leverage in the free market............ Here's the Nuggets summer league roster, confirming that he is in fact joining the Nuggets.............. Jarrett Jack may not play in the summer league for the Blazers. He had an MRI on Friday on his left ankle. If it's not 100%, they won't rush him into summer league action....................... He is on the summer league roster, but stay tuned............. The ACC is reshuffling after the loss of 9 players to the draft and countless others in the free agent market.................. Great news - both Wes Hodges and Matt Wieters make the Team USA 22-man roster. They had been going through a 39-player invitation-only tryout, and both make the squad. Congrats!!!...... They played their first game Saturday, a 3-1 victory vs the Torrington Twisters. Hodges had a double & RBI.......... Here's the official roster in a more readable format............ Tyler Greene officially signed his contract on Friday.............. In the "Where are they now" segment, Nomar G is recovering ahead of schedule. In other words, he will be ready for his next injury much sooner.....................
MISC STUFF
We get a lot of traffic sent to us from "Facebook.com". You may have heard of it, but unless you're a college student, forget about getting access. Evidently it has turned into a campus phenomenon - and here's a story about the site............. The new ACC is successful, even if it took a painful path to get there...........
