Football Notes

First some recruiting notes.More on Ray Herring, who is headed to South Bend. Here's more on Herring.........Saturday is the "Superbowl of high school football". Link here. That is where Maurice Wells will make his college decision known in a pre-taped segment sometime during the telecast. The game starts at 1:00 Saturday on NBC.......

In ACC Football news, Virginia has taken a couple of hits, as TE Heath Miller and LB Darryl Blackstock have announced their intentions to go pro and enter their names in the draft.

They've revealed from 117 down to #26 and there are no Jackets to be found yet......... Rough treatment for some ACC teams - UVA #27, NCST #40, MD #49, Clemson #50, UNC #52, WF #63, Duke #78........... So who from the ACC (by process of elimination) will be on their top 25 list? Obviously Miami, FSU, VaTech, GT, BC. In other words - all 3 NEW ACC teams, along with FSU/GT.
