Beesball Recruiting

Another kid we might lose to the MLB draft. Wow, if he doesn't pan out on the mound, maybe he can play the 5-spot for Hewitt - he's 6'9".

As if David Duncan doesn't have enough going for him on the mound, he's starting to gear up at the plate.

The New Richmond senior lefthander, who will pitch for Georgia Tech next season unless he gets an offer to his liking in Major League Baseball's June draft, turned in what has become his usual effort on the mound at Western Brown Tuesday afternoon.

What was startling was what he did with his bat. Duncan (3-0) hit a two-run home run off Brian Randall (3-2) in New Richmond's three-run first inning and added a triple in the seventh as the Lions snapped the Broncos' seven-game winning streak, winning 5-2.
