Well, recruiting in the state of Georgia is bigtime. UGAg has done the best job of locking up in-state talent they are interested in. Coach Gailey is getting better every year for Georgia Tech. However, "protecting our borders" is harder than ever. We have all the usual suspects in neighboring states after our recruits for one. Now there are coaches with former ties and connections snapping up more GA talent, like George O'Leary, Ted Roof, Ralph Freidgen, etc. Will Steve Spurrier have the same impact? Will he crack GA and start landing top recruits? This article thinks he might, because evidently recruits are already excited about the possibility of playing for him. Story here.
