Tire Bowl Comments on Georgia Tech

Well, North Carolina is going to the Tire Bowl which means we are most likely headed to the MPC Computers Bowl in Boise (unless the ACC can cut a deal to swap with one of the other open bowls). Here's what Tire Bowl officials had to say about GT:

"We gave Georgia Tech due consideration," said Will Webb, the bowl's executive director. "But when you look at the number of alumni in the region and the fact that Carolina's a lot closer, the best decision was Carolina. The numbers game all fell to Carolina.
