Shilling was on the "Best Damn Sports Show" the other night. He was asked

"There are a lot of free agents on the Red Sox. If there was only one guy you HAD to sign, who would it be?"

His answer (losely paraphared):

"Varitek. No doubt. He's the guy. What he means to this team cannot be overstated. No matter how much money he ends up making, he will ALWAYS be worth more for what he does."
