PJ Daniels OUT for the NCST Game

Well, time to get over that mental hurdle of not playing with PJ. Woods will get the start on Saturday and will share the load with R.Grant. Link here........ Here's an AP story.

And make no mistake - it IS A mental hurdle. There is not a giant talent gap when PJ leaves the field. But there is a mental change in attitude by the players. It is obvious.

Now, on the surface you might think Woods is somewhat similar to Daniels. But clearly Daniels is the grinder who can chew up yards. He'll occasionaly break one for 20 yards but not much longer than that. Woods on the other hand is more of a big play back. On the first play of the game against Miami he broke a long run, but then only managed about 18 yards on 11 carries the rest of the game.

So we'll have to see how the team responds.
