UConn plays at Georgia Tech today, the third time that opponents who played for the NCAA basketball championship played in football the next season, according to STATS Inc. Watch out, UConn. Kansas beat Oklahoma for the basketball title in 1988, then was crushed by the Sooners 63-14 the following fall. Indiana beat Michigan in the '76 basketball final, then lost to the Wolverines 35-0.
