Recruiting - 4th Recruit Signs LOI

Alade Aminu signs his LOI, the 4th player to do so in the class of 2005 - story here. Here's an article on the entire class, and this quote from Coach Hewitt on the impact of recruiting since the Final Four run:

The Yellow Jackets' 2005 recruiting class is the first since their Final Four run. The four true freshmen on this year's team all signed prior to the start of last season.

Surprisingly, Hewitt said the exposure gained by reaching the national championship game earlier this year did not help him sell Georgia Tech to this recruiting class.

"I think we got an audience with more kids, but at the end of the day, we're going to get the same kind of kids we normally get," he said.

Of course that is only the class of 2005. The bigger impact is likely to be the class of 2006.
