More on Signing Day Today

Again, this is the early signing period for hoops players (Nov 10-17). Here is an article about the Jacket commits.

Here is the latest quote from Austin Jackson on playing minor league baseball and college hoops:

Jackson, a tremendous baseball prospect, indicated that he would like to play center field in minor league baseball, as well as play basketball at Tech.

"That's something I'm still thinking about," Jackson said. "It would have to be something that I try to see if I can do it."

Also note that Clinch will not sign until Monday because he wants to have a little ceremony with his family and friends.

On the UGA front, don't expect Louis Williams to sign with UGA quite yet - link here. This is interesting:

It certainly is premature, but a mock 2005 NBA draft on probasketball.about.com has Williams as the 17th pick, one slot ahead of Georgia Tech's Jarrett Jack, who led the Yellow Jackets to the NCAA championship game last spring.
