Jeremis Smith Not To Play Sunday

Well, no sooner do we get our new guys in and now one of them will miss some action. Story here:

Freshman forward Jeremis Smith (6-6, Fort Worth, Texas), will not play in Sunday's game as a precautionary measure after he was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his lower left leg early last week, a precursor to a stress fracture. He has missed practice most of this week is expected to be out until sometime next week.

I am no doctor, but it doesn't sound like one of those quick-healing injuries. Well, what do I know?
