Ex-NFL Coaches Enjoy Return to College Roots

Gailey, who's in his third season at Georgia Tech, has the school eligible to make its eighth consecutive bowl trip. He's one of nine current I-A coaches who've made the NFL-to-NCAA switch.

“In the pros, you have a one-month period that is completely down (time),” Gailey said. “Here, you have camps and things that are sprinkled into the summer. It's a week here, 10 days there, that type of stuff that you're able to do. It's tough to get some complete down time.”
