His team won the past two N.C. 3A Independent Schools titles and was 53-5 in that time. But two-time Observer Player of the Year Anthony Morrow is at Georgia Tech now and the Hawks lost four other players.

That pair must try to replace Morrow, who was 50 percent or more of the team's offense.

"What do we do? We've just got the tradition of the program that's carried us a great deal to now," Faulkner said. "The first thing people say is, `Well, you lost Anthony Morrow.' We lost five guys off that team and kids are supposed to graduate. This is what you're in the business for. The year before, we lost six kids and the year before that five."
