Recruiting Update - beesball

Fellow Dixie State pitcher and Las Vegas native Matt Elliott was not drafted this year after the Indians drafted him in the 22nd round in 2003. Elliott said he and the Indians could not agree on terms before the draft-and-follow deadline.
The Cardinals selected him in the 27th round out of high school.

Elliott will attend a Division I school next season. He said UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona and Georgia Tech are all pursuing him.
