Once the Mets drafted Wright, it finally dawned on his father that the kid who started dreaming big as a tee-ball player had mapped things out nicely. Rhon Wright admitted that he had initially expected his son to play at Georgia Tech, earn a degree and "work 40 hours for a paycheck like the rest of us."
