Football - Faith on the Field

Just an outstanding show of how the Georgia Tech program is both attracting and building top-notch student-athletes. This article just goes to show the caliber of recruits we are bringing into the program.

Ten-year-old Harley Wilson of Okatie said he learned how to play football better and know God better, while friend Matt Mills also learned about the finer points of football and faith.

"A lot of people got saved," the 11-year-old from Ridgeland said about Monday's clinic, which attracted about 50 youngsters. "We've learned about Christ, the skills of football and everything."

Besides, showing the love of God by teaching sports skills that could last a lifetime is all Brezina and the rest of the Christian athletes want to do.

"I want to give back to these kids," Brezina said. "And love these kids like Christ loves us."
