GREAT BALL OF FIRE
A nice look at Reggie Ball, his development and leadership skills...... Here's an interesting stat. Last season Reggie Ball has a total of 10 TD throws the entire season. Through 2 games he has 6.

BALL'S GAME: QB A TRUE LEADER
Interesting comment from Gailey:

Coach Chan Gailey even said that he took one look at film of Ball in a high-school game and expected to move him to another position once he was beaten out at quarterback in his first preseason.

TARHEEL FANS READY TO TAR BUNTING
Why do the Tarhole fans really think Steve Spurrier would come to UNC. You know they will not fork out the money required to pay the guy. Heck, it took an act of congress to pay the favored son Roy Williams the big bucks. Bottom-line is that I think Spurrier is wishful thinking.

RANKINGS SUPREME
Want to see how we stack up in the gazillion different ranking schemes on the web. Check out this list. We show up anywhere from 12 to 59 depending on the list. This list is on the link list under "92 different polls", although it is no longer 92.

DR.FOOTBALL
A little editorial and some Q&A about the Jackets and the ACC (go to the bottom).

AVOIDING THE LETDOWN
I will say it again. Today's game is the most important test of our team's consistency and ability to sustain high levels of execution against a struggling opponent.

DAVE BRAINE AND VATECH
A look at how Braine has kept up with VaTech and helped them get into the ACC.

RECRUITING TRAIL
We are still in the top 3 for talented Florida RB Maurice Wells. From SI.com:
7. Maurice Wells, Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood. Speaking of exciting, Maurice Wells is a big-play back (5-9, 180) possessing exceptional speed and quickness. He is dangerous and very tough to bring down in open space. Last season, Wells rushed for more than 3,000 yards and 31 touchdowns, including a 429-yard single-game rushing performance. Georgia Tech, Ohio State and Southern Cal are his current leaders.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW - MARCO COLEMAN
Nice story on the former GT standout.
