Well, there are a few options. The best option to respect people's server bandwidth is to use bit-torrent. If you are not familiar with it, click here. Basically it is software that enables cheap distribution of large files through a distributed network and it is very scalable. You'll have to download the software and install it. Once you do that it is a no-brainer. We're not talking major high speed downloads, but it works. Read the link I provided for more info.
