Hoops Double-GT Reference in article

Funny double-link to Georgia Tech in this story. First Amare Stoudemire watching the GT/Duke game:

Amare Stoudemire walked into the room and noticed the Duke-Georgia Tech game on TV. He also noticed Charles Barkley sitting on the front row.

"There's the hater," Stoudemire told Quentin Richardson. Barkley isn't sold on today's NBA whippersnappers, and particularly the Suns, for whom he starred in the `93 playoffs.

Then later there is a Stephon Marbury reference:

Of course, Phoenix is mainly winning because it followed a league law - teams that trade Stephon Marbury immediately become contenders.

Steve Nash replaced Marbury as the point guard, and suddenly the Suns developed into run-and-shoot sensations, blowing away every reason why half-court basketball is mandatory.
