Rivals has released their class of 2005 updated top 150 players, based on summer circuit play. Here are players of interest to GT, some who have committed already:

As you can see, we have some level of involvement with a lot of players. It is still early in the game. So be patient. I have to admit, it is tough seeing guys commit to other schools, but we have to trust the staff that they know what they are doing. Coach Hewitt and co. have proven it before - they'll do it again.

As to the recruiting side. Don't be dissapointed yet, we have a long ways to go and Hewitt is a slow recruiter. Aminu is the only player to commit to Hewitt before Labor Day week. Hewitt really likes to get to know guys first. Our staff does alot of background work.

We are in on plenty of top players at this point.

If we get some of our A-list guys we will be getting all-ACC caliber guys. Also, we will not take a PG in this class. We will take a combo or two. Miles and Clinch can both play some PG. We like the PG's in 2006 better thna in this class and lead for 2 of them currently.
