Jonesboro's Jason Perry is on a tear for the Modesto A's in the Class A California League. Perry, who started the 2004 season with the double-A Midland Rockhounds, is batting .360 with 19 home runs and 56 RBIs in 49 games. Last week, he hit nine home runs and on Thursday, went 4-for-4 with two homes runs to lead the A's to a 10-4 victory over the Visalia Oaks. "I'm just tickled to death," Jonesboro head baseball coach Don Corr said. "He's had a great week. We're proud of him at Jonesboro and try to keep with him. He's done a fine job representing Jonesboro
