ACADEMIC NON-QUALIFIERS
Well, looks like GT has been hit with the academic bug. Evidently LB Kyle Pupello and RB Michael Sampson were ruled ineligible due to academics. Sampson was part of "flunk-gate" last year. This is not new. For Pupello, his bio actually says that he left the team prior to the 2004 season and elected to trasfer - link here. It also looks like there might be a 3rd loss, but I will not put out a name until we hear official word.

TRANSFER AT TIGHT END???
Nothing official, but there is speculation that Louisville tight-end Wayne Riles has decided to transfer to GT. He would be a starter this season at Louisville. At 6'5" 243lb he is a big boy - here is his bio. If this becomes official, I'll let you know. No doubt TE is a major question mark for the Jackets this season, and is leading to the possible use of more 3 wide receiver sets.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW - ANTHONY HARGROVE?
Hargrove continues to miss practice time with ankle and knee injuries.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW - KEYARON FOX?
Link here:

Rookie outside linebacker Keyaron Fox leaped up and made an impressive interception of a Damon Huard pass.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW - DARYL SMITH?
Thanks to "geeteelee" at the Hive for this link. Looks like a little rookie hazing. He didn't have to wear a skirt like some rookies, but he did have to sing the Georgia Tech fight song. VERY nice to see he had 2 INT's the other day.
