Interesting quote from Ralph Friedgen, comparing last season's Maryland offense to the Georgia Tech offense of 1987...............

"We have to be much better offensively than we were," the always-candid Friedgen said. "It's been a long time since I've been around an offense as poor as we were last year. I think '87 [when he was an assistant at Georgia Tech] was the last time we were that poor.
