The transfer from East Carolina has had an immediate impact on the Jackets:
Sheridan was not guaranteed a spot on the team and had to prove herself during fall camp. The hard-working 5-foot-3 dynamo quickly earned the respect of teammates.
"I had upperclassmen come into my office and say, 'This Sheridan girl can flat-out play. She's definitely going to help us,' " Earleywine said. "Christine is a little player with a big heart who plays with tremendous determination and intensity. I love the way she really gets after it."
