Recruiting - Todd Walker

It is true. Todd Walker changed his mind and will attend Texas Tech, the school where his father played college ball. The lure of the Texas Tech offense at the Wide Receiver position was evidently more attractive than a chance at QB at Georgia Tech (in his mind). Honestly, there were not many schools recruiting Walker at the QB position and it appeared that he wanted a shot at the DI level. Sounds like he is second guessing himself now. Walker is an excellent athlete with blazing speed and decent high school QB statistics, but considered a project at the position. This is evidenced by the fact that the recruiting services typically list him as an "athlete" instead of QB. Short mention here.
