Mooney told his team to play as if it were playing a conference foe or Georgia Tech, which Air Force plays Saturday in Atlanta.
"We stressed to our players that we didn't want to do anything tonight that we wouldn't do against Georgia Tech," Mooney said. "If you're man enough to do it against a team like Georgia Tech, then you can do it tonight. We won it, and we won it our way."
