Recruiting - Hoops

On the recruiting trail, it looks like the possible CJ Miles / Kevin Rogers duo is fading as a possibility. Not dead by any means, but the leader for their services seems to clearly be Kansas. Again, what are they putting in the water over there? Miles and Kansas and Arizona as a leader with GT a close 3rd, while Rogers has Kansas in the lead also. Here is a blurb about Miles. I believe that if they verbal to Kansas, they are officially out of free rides... mercifully. Seems like they have had about 25 to offer........Here is an article on Casaan Breeden, Ra'Sean Dickey's teammate last season, who is a top recruit also. He has narrowed his list down to 5 schools, including GT, and mostly all in the ACC. I would say it is a longshot that he choses GT, but time will tell.......... While we are not really in the hunt for PG Byron Eaton (from Bosh's high school), we are in the hunt for another Texas PG Austin Jackson. He has narrowed his list down to GT, Ok, and Illinois. This one is complicated though, as he is also a bigtime baseball star, who would like to play both in school. If he is that good in baseball though, my guess is he heads to the minors, but what do I know??......... Lewis Clinch has narrowed his list down to GT, WF and UGAg and has a visit schedule this month to GT. I have to think we are in good position with him.
