ACC Eating Their Young

Well, this article contends that ACC football wasn't all it was cracked up to be. My own opinion is that this is partly right. Yes, Maryland and NCST and Clemson clearly had down years and for Miami to lose to UNC was an eye-opener. But parity is the other side of the equation. When you have a lot of average and above average teams, they are going to kill each other in the conference. Happens in hoops and it will happen in football. However, the strength in ACC football will not be truly felt until 2-3 years in my opinion. That is when the recruiting impact will start hitting stride.
