Where are they now - Mark Teixeira

Evidently MT was on the Jungle with Jim Rome today - per econjacket over at the Hive. Here is his report, which I will share with you here:

....nothing major, but an excellent interview with the ex-Beesballer. Great representative of the Institute and he mentioned how much he enjoyed his time at Tech. Rome asked him if that made a difference in his professional approach to the game and he responded "Absolutely". Said he won an ACC crown, worked hard, and heck...even met his wife at Tech.
Also said he would recommend going to school (especially Tech)no matter how much money kids are offered out of high school.

As an aside, he said he enjoyed watching Varitek take it to A-Rod, and that some of his Tech buddies called to talk about it after they saw it on TV. Said he wouldn't want to meet Varitek in a dark alley. Pretty funny stuff.
