Here is the higlight:
The progress of this strong 250-pound low post over the course of the spring and summer was quite noteworthy, and similar to his more heralded Atlanta Celtics frontcourt mates Dwight Howard and Josh Smith, he now looks like a probable McDonald’s All-American. Randolph’s combination of power and quickness on his post moves is better than any senior except Al Jefferson, but the Georgian still is prone to miss easy shots, perhaps because of lapses in concentration. Nevertheless, he does a whole lot of good things, such as drilling soft turnaround jump shots and jump hooks, attacking the glass with ferocity, hustling up and down the court, blocking shots and punishing less sturdy foes with one powerful dunk after another. He travels occasionally on his quick first step, but his deft footwork, increased explosiveness and ability to get to the rim in a hurry are quite impressive. Big-time plus prospect.
Averaged 23points, 16 boards, 4 blocks his junior year of high school.
