AJC Review of the hoops team

Review of our team. Everyone has the same comments:

- great backcourt. Bynum will add toughness
- inside presence a big question mark. What will Luke do?

So Luke, are you for real this year? Are you a 12 point, 8 rebound per game guy? Theodis, when you return can you show that your play at the NIT was no fluke and that you are really developing into a solid post presence?

More questions -
Is'mail, can you continue you "take it to the rim, no prisoners" attitude? You are an incredible athlete. Can you develop a 10-foot jump shot to add another dimension to your game? I shudder to think how people would guard you if you added a mid-range jumper.
Marvin, can you even out the consistency of your play, particularly on the road? When you are on from the perimeter, you are unstoppable. When you are not, we cannot even find you.
Clarence, are you going to earn a leadership position again on this team? Show us that your all-around game is still in top shape. Tony, you are a great defender. Will you develop more confidence in your shot? You were a scorer in high school -we know you have skills.
Will, welcome home. Glad you came to your senses. I am excited about what you can add to this team. It is a clean slate - make your mark.
BJ, I am sick of reading EVERYWHERE that you are the most underrated player in the ACC. Would you just put it to rest and be one of the top 5? You have the game and will play in the NBA one day. Can you help this team make it to the next level while you are here. Jarrett, you are the floor general. Will you develop into the BEST point guard in the ACC by your senior year? I honestly think that might be shooting too small with your potential. The teams with experienced mature leaders at the point WIN, particularly in the ACC. Will you be that guy?
Mario, Jim and Robert. will you guys step up when given the opportunity? Your minutes will not be great, but when you get them, what will you do? Will you seize the moment?

I for one am excited and hopeful about this team. I think the potential is high. We can be a tourny team. GO JACKETS!!!
