Hoops Recruiting - The 1-2 Punch

Very interesting article talking about the importance of a recruiting 1-2 punch. In other words having 2 good recruiting classes in a row to build a successful base for your program. Based on that article the ACC looks like this for the classes of 2005 and 2006:

Schoo....2005-2006 rankings
Duke.....1-2
UNC......2-1
NCST.....3-9
GT.......4-3
WF.......5-4
Miami....6-7
Clemson..7-10
FSU......8-5
UVA......9-8
MD.......10-6
BC.......11-11
VaTech...12-12

Also interesting that they mention that the ACC signed 21 of the top 100 high school seniors in 2002. Only 12 of them are listed as seniors on ACC rosters, as most have gone pro. That class include Chris Bosh and Jarrett Jack for the Jackets.

Now, you want to REALLY get interesting. Go for the 1-2-3 punch. Throw in a 3 year comparison and add our Morrow / Dickey / Smith / Fredrick class to the mix. Talk about a great 3 year recruiting run.
