Hopefully it is not too serious. But it does highlight the delicate nature of our depth. Bottom line is that we cannot sustain too many injuries at key positions and hope to have a successful season. Coach Gailey has proven his ability to win through adversity but stepping it up to the next level is a challenge without full strength. Story here....... Here's the Macon Telegraph version that says it only looks to be minor and that "everything is in place" and nothing torn.
Interesting that O-Line coach Joe D'Alessandris makes all the O-Lineman wear bulky knee braces - sounds like Neal's mom credits that with saving his knee.
The injury bug also hit our linebacker core, with K.Hall and N.Moore both sustaining minor injuries. Also minor injuries to A.Oliver, O.Billy and B.Honeycutt.
Man, call the pre-season "death by a thousand paper cuts".
