ACC Football Revenue

Posted over at fanblogs.com - link here. Here are the ACC football revenues through 2003, as reported by the US Dept. of Education.

Clemson: $22,781,636
Miami: $21,286,108
Virginia Tech: $20,238,857
Florida State: $18,714,279
North Carolina: $15,156,912
Virginia: $13,226,802
Georgia Tech: $12,218,121
North Carolina State: $9,833,055
Maryland: $9,216,471
Wake Forest: $7,068,144
Duke: $6,972,461

Interesting that North Carolina had so much football revenue, but one factor here is location and competition from other sports. Certainly ATL has a lot of competition with pro teams. Check out Maryland though. Three 10 win seasons in a row and they can only do better than WF and Duke. Clemson on top? Well, it's 2+ hours to any pro sport. It's the Tigers in the upstate - not much else.
