Recruiting - GT Commitment #2 and #3

Per Rivals (Jacketsonline.com):
Brad Sellers from Texas, a DL (plays both OL/DL in hs), 6'2" 255lb, runs a 4.7-40. He had offers from Duke and Toledo and was being recruited by Miami, Nebraska and Okl.St........ Here he is listed in the top returning 5A players in Texas......... Sellers seems to be quite the discus thrower as well. To see his track meet history, click here. He has thrown upwards of 188'11 feet, one of the best throws in the state. link here........ This from www.texashsfootball.com: "But the Volunteers biggest improvement will be on the defensive side of the ball being led by Brad Sellers...."...... Based on this story (further down the page), Texas is having a bumper crop year when it comes to defensive lineman, and Sellers gets mention in the list......... This page claims to quote a "Miami insider" who says:

From a Miami insider, "Zirbel is the type of kid coach Kehoe loves. I think it'll be UM or Michigan for him in the end. Watch his stock go through the roof in the next couple months" and as far as DL "two kids really stood out - Jonas Murrell and a kid from Texas named Brad Sellers".

Jahi'Word-Daniels, from Hoover AL, a 5'11" 160lb Cornerback who runs a 4.5-40, who had offers from Duke, Louisville and Vandy, and was also being recruited by Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Miss.St. Another smart young man with a 3.6GPA and no problem on test scores...... Here is an interview which I think is free for all....... By the way his teammates have nicknamed him "primetime", after Deion Sanders, who is his role-model at the corner position.... Here's one review of his Hoover team:
13. Hoover (Ala.)
The coach: Rush Propst (62-7, five years)
2003: Class 6A state champion, 14-1

The record: The Bucs have won three state titles and compiled a 55-4 record over the last four seasons.

The resume: Hoover will be young and inexperienced at some key positions, but is extremely athletic and fast at most of the skill spots. Propst welcomes back 10 returning starters and 40 lettermen, led by DBs Jahi Word-Daniels (6-0, 170) and Cory Reamer (6-4, 200). QB Jarod Bryant (5-10, 185) will be asked to fill the shoes left by graduated Parade All-American John Parker Wilson.

Welcome aboard, glad to have you!!!
