Anthony Goods. A kid from the west coast with ties to ATL. Profile here. A 6'3" PG who lived in ATL for 10 years (from age 4 to 14 - thanks RamblinRed). He will likely take an unofficial visit to GT in July when he is in town, but it looks like even with the coaching change at Stanford, the family is definitely impressed with the school. Story here. By the sounds of the article, mama is definitely in control of this process....... Here is another reminder about his talent. We are talking about a kid who shoots over 50% from 3pt range in AAU league play, and over 55% last summer.
We should have a decent chance to land him. And I know just who should host his visit, based on Goods' own quote:
"And Isma’il Muhammad (Georgia Tech) is awesome. He’s more of a small forward and doesn’t shoot from three but I love to watch his game. I’ll drop whatever I’m doing if Muhammad is playing."
I've been posting about Bobby Frasor - well, you can probably forget him. Looks like his final 3 are Stanford, Marquette and UNC. Another PG who can flat out shoot the lights out. Really the mold Coach Hewitt seems to like in a big guard, but alas, it does not appear to be in the cards.
