- Said he made his decision after the McDonalds All-American game after playing with the two UK-bound PG's (Rondo and Crawford). Said he really saw how talented they were. Felt like he had real chemistry with those guys over the GT class.
- said Tubby Smith's track record spoke for itself - he didn't have to do much
- said Luke's strong junior year didn't play a role in his decision. Said that the freshman class made a difference for him and he felt UK had the class he wanted to play with.
- said he would not be comfortable being a student athlete at Georgia Tech
