ACC TOURNEY BRACKET SET
Losing the coin flip definitely made our road a harder one. (story here).
UVA / Clemson have the play-in game (or as my Clemson friend calls it - the "Larry Shyatt Invitational").
DOOK gets the winner of UVA / Clemson
NCST gets FSU
WF gets Maryland
GT gets UNC

So that means to win the tourney, GT will have to probably beat UNC, Dook and NCST - can you say North Carolina trifecta? Because WF won the coin toss, their most likely path would be Maryland, NC ST, then the champion on our side. Here is the official bracket.

I don't know who will win the tourney this year, but I can tell you one thing - it will NOT be DOOK. They will not make it 6 in a row. I don't know who will beat them, but someone will. Watch and see.

UNC'S FELTON GETS A HIP POINTER
Well our Will Bynum has one and now so does R.Felton. He was play I am sure - we will just have to see how it impacts his mobility and and speed.

THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY POINT GUARDS
No doubt the ACC has been king of point guards when you look back in history. This article even fails to give mention of Kenny Anderson.

HEWITT HAS TEAM WINNING AGAIN AT THE END OF THE SEASON
Somehow Coach Hewitt manages to get this team winning at the end of the season. He has done it every year he has been with the Jackets. Winning 3 in a row going into the ACC tourney should be important. While I want to make a statement there, we all know the important games comes in the next tourney.

FINAL REGULAR SEASON SAGARIN POLL
.....has the Jackets #7 (link on the list at left).

BEESBALL TEAM WINS IN RUBBER MATCH OVER RUTGERS
Freshman Wes Hodges had three and drove in three runs and Micah Owings and Tyler Greene each hit home runs to lead Georgia Tech to a 13-6 victory over Rutgers on Sunday.(story here).

AROUND COLLEGE HOOPS
Emeka Okafor continues to have back problems - wonder how this might affect his draft status.............. Who does Julius Hodge think should be ACC POY? Well, he thinks it should be Julius Hodge (story here).

WHERE ARE THEY NOW - JASON COLLIER
It looks like Jason is getting his shot at the big show again and will probably be signed by the Hawks (story here).
