Looks like the Falcons will hire Jim Mora Jr. as their head coach. Jim Rome on his radio show said that Joe Gibbs had contacted the Falcons about coaching there (he is part owner of the Falcons), and they declined. What????? Joe Gibbs was denied an opportunity to coach in Atlanta? Well, that's why the Falcons ARE the Falcons. That's probably why they will always be what they've always been.

I wish the best to Jim Mora Jr. though.
