A Daily Dose

BASKETBALL
No doubt the ACC is the strongest hoops conference this year. This article states that fact. One reason this is true is the unbelievable level of point guard play, as this article points out................. Looking ahead to Saturday's game against Maryland, here is a nice preview of the team. So far they have had an up-and-down season, to say the least. It is good news that they have followed some wonderful victories against good teams with poor performances against bad teams. And they are coming off a strong win against UNC. Let's hope their ride continues................ For a nice preview of the Battle of the Border, a high school touney Monday in Greenville, SC, click here. It will feature Zam Fredrick, Ra'Sean Dickey, Randolph Morris and Dwight Howard. In fact, Dickey will battle head-to-head with Howard. Zam and Dickey have committed to the Jackets next year and Morris is down to GT/UK/NBA. Howard is going pro - count on it............... Julius Hodge of NC St gives some major disrespect to the Cameron Crazies at Duke. After being held to few points and a terrible game in a Duke win he was asked if the fans impacted his game. His answer - "There's no way I could let a guy with a 4.5 GPA [with] acne and bad breath decide the way I'm going to play on the court," he said. "Everywhere I go I get that, so that didn't make a difference." ....................... Nice article on Jeremis Smith and his sister. Jeremis has signed to play hoops at GT next year.....

FOOTBALL
The Georgia Force Arena Football team has hired Vince Dooley, Hershal Walker and is now trying to bring in former UGA kicker Kevin Butler. It's all about marketing. It's all about selling tickets. Don't forget the QB is former GT QB Donnie Davis.
