Hoops Notes

GT FALLS TO LOUISVILLE IN 2ND ROUND

JACK DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT NBA YET

SPORTSLINE BLASTS BJ ELDER

Worst performance, period: Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt routinely wonders why senior B.J. Elder doesn't get more credit. This is why: Elder had three points in the Jackets' second-round loss to Louisville, a sadly typical performance for one of the streakiest players in college basketball.

LOUISVILLE PLAYING THEIR BEST BALL, RELAXED

2004 A FLUKE???

Most disappointing team performance:
It has to be Georgia Tech. After making the championship game a year ago, the Yellow Jackets had the same team back and failed to make a run after an impressive showing at the ACC Tournament, getting out-classed by Louisville in the second round. It goes to show that perhaps last year was more of a fluke that most Tech fans would like to believe.
