Ran across this on Thaddeus Young:
3. Thaddeus Young, Georgia Tech - Coaches in the ACC and around the country are going to have match-up nightmares when prepping to play Georgia Tech and Young this season. This 6’8” SF is a freakish athlete with an often-unconscious mid-range jumper and advanced skills playing in the half-court offense. While he has a consistent jumper and can play in the open-floor, he is further benefitted by being left-handed, which will make for a defensive struggles for his defender. Young isn’t the only freshman phenom to play for the Yellow Jackets this season, PG Javaris Crittenton will join him, another highly rated recruit out of high school. My biggest knock against Young is that his ball-handling skills need work as his handle isn’t tight or low enough, and he needs to add a considerable amount of weight in order to not get pushed around in the low blocks.
