Olympic Update

Nice story on Chaunte Howard making the Olypmic team.......... Here is a good story on her training partner, who finished 1st to also make the team.

Also, Montrell Person, a GT junior is headed to Sacramento to try and qualify for the Olympic team in the 110m hurdles. Story here. He has battled injuries to get to the point, and we wish him well.

“It would be great to make the team,” Person said. “Of course, everyone there has that goal, otherwise they wouldn’t be there.

“My secondary goal is I just want to go out there and represent myself and my school well. I want to run faster than I’ve ever run before.”
