Schedule Hurts Tech

I realize that we have no control over this, but you have to admit that playing two teams over the next month hurts our largely healthy football team. Who agreed to nearly back to back bye weeks? We play Maryland in ten days, then have to sit around for SIXTEEN days waiting to take on Duke.

Sure, it's a coincidence that the bye week comes around when Tech seems to have some momentum after knocking off two good teams, but this is the LAST time anyone would like to see the team sit idle for a while. It's too bad that we had to bunch up the bye weeks and we'll feel even dumber if someone gets hurt after playing Duke. Is this due to Tech's desire to play on Thursday night at all costs? I hope not....
