Another Hoops Recruit Davis Nwankwo visits GaTech

Here is a re-cap of Davis Nwankwo's visit to GaTech. Looks like he is leaning AZ, but his parents want him to consider a stronger acedemic school. He is still one of 4-5 guys chasing 2 scholarships. By the way, Arizona has also decided to continue recruiting Jeremis Smith, who was arrested last week for shoplifting. He has re-scheduled his visit to AZ for late Oct. Some people expect him to commit to AZ that weekend. No word out of GaTech if they will continue recruiting him. My guess is they will continue. Smith is down to AZ/GT for his college choices. As usual, for both GT/AZ there are more players chasing fewer scholarships. We still seem to be front-runners for Ra'Sean Dickey & Randolph Morris.

Here is a little more clarification on his choice. He WANTS AZ and his parents don't. You can by his comments the pressure these kids feel going through this process.

By the way, Nwankwo is 6'9", about 235lb and is ranked in the top 100 in all the rankings.
