Don't hate the player, hate the game

Interesting article about what we all know to be true - bowl games and hiesman trophies mean much less today than they used to.

Quote from the article:
"A bowl game was awarded to a team that was a cut above, that clearly distinguished itself. It wasn't Kansas, UCLA or Georgia Tech, three teams with 6-6 records that will play in bowls this postseason for no apparent reason other than greed."

Again, don't hate the player, hate the game.
