Does GT deserve a Bowl game

Should teams that finish 6-6 actually have the right to play in a bowl, while teams with better records sit at home. This article comments. I can certainly understand the complaint. Of course strength of schedule HAS to play a role. We did beat Auburn, MD and NC State (and almost FSU). So for me, as a GT fan, I say....."Boise here we come". Right or wrong, it's just the way it is.
