Local connections impacted Falcons / Vikings game???

From AJC: Vikings coach Mike Tice would have you believe all the locally connected players (and coaches) on his team hurt early, even if they helped later. He said his team was distracted when the game began, what with the fuss over the return to Atlanta of defensive coordinator George O'Leary , the former Georgia Tech coach, and former Tech players Kelly Campbell and linebacker Nick Rogers.
On a side note, the Broncos released former Tech player and strong safety Lethon Flowers. The Falcons said they would probably not try to sign him, mostly due to salary cap considerations.
