It's official - Boston College to join the ACC

Well, it's official.. Is BC joining the ACC a good thing? Time will tell, but it was really a necessary thing. It was driven by money, long-term viability and positioning. BC is certainly a good fit acedemically, prestige-wise and image-wise. Their sports programs have competed fairly well and should get a boost once in the conference. If we HAD to have another team, BC seems like a good one. We will see.
