Well, Calvin Johnson was not going to workout at the Indy NFL combine today. However at the last minute he decided to run the 40. Unfortunately he had to borrow someone else's shoes. He ran twice, recording a 4.4 and a 4.34............ "Sick" is the proper term when it comes to CJ. There is absolutely nobody arguing with the fact that CJ is THE elite player in the draft. It is simply amazing to have a guy like that associated with Georgia Tech. However, CJ wasn't the fastest in his grouping. No. 1 was Yamon Figurs (4.30) of Kansas State, No. 2 was Jason Hill (4.32) of Washington State. Figurs if 5 feet, 11 1/2 and 181 pounds; Hill is 6-1, 208. Johnson is 6-4, 239.......................... On the NFL Network, one of the announcers made the point that Tampa Bay's loss of the coin flip could have been one of the most expensive flips in sports history - potentially causing Calvin to lose upwards of $7MM, since the Bucs were probably going to pick him with the 3rd or the 4th pick anyhow.
